Verint is globally recognized as a leading provider of customer engagement solutions. The company specializes in enhancing customer experience through automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and cloud-based technologies. Harbers Solutions, part of Harbers Group and now the developer of TriniCo, is one of Verint’s key partners in the Benelux region.
We spoke with Lisette Jochemsen, Partner Account Manager Benelux at Verint. Lisette played a significant role in the evolution of TriniCo, having been involved in the marketing of Trinicom, the company from which the software originated, since 2008. This marked the beginning of the software line.
TriniCo has a rich history shaped by several acquisitions. The product began in the Netherlands in 2000 under the name Trinicom. In 2012, Trinicom and its software were acquired by KANA and rebranded as KANA Express, entering international markets. In 2014, KANA Express was acquired by the American company Verint, which renamed it Verint Express. In 2023, the software was sold to Harbers Group, bringing it back into Dutch ownership. From autumn 2024, the software is known as TriniCo.
Since Trinicom’s founding in 2000, Emiel Harbers of Harbers Group has made significant contributions to the software’s maintenance and management. With extensive experience in technical installations, starting with Trinicom T5, he expanded his services to include cloud and remote support.
When Verint acquired the customer engagement software in 2014, Harbers began working closely with them. During this period, Harbers expanded its portfolio to include software development, consultancy, hosting, account management, and eventually sales. Harbers became one of Verint’s most important partners in the Benelux, also supporting other products from the Verint suite.
Harbers Group has been a long-standing partner and reseller of Verint and received Verint’s Rising Star Award in 2024. Harbers delivers and hosts various Verint products, including the workforce planning tool Verint Workforce Management (WFM) and the community platform Verint Community.
Harbers primarily focuses on smaller contact centers, which Verint refers to Harbers for full sales and implementation. Harbers handles the entire process and provides both first- and second-line support after delivery.
Additionally, Harbers supports Verint legacy products across EMEA, such as Response (email management), IQ (knowledge management), and Flexmanager (WFM add-on).
Harbers is a trusted problem-solver for complex customer integration issues. “Harbers has developed several Verint product integrations and customizations, including adapters for SD Worx CRM, Workforce Management (WFM), Anywhere 365, and Speed Analytics,” explains Wim Lobbert, Manager of Support & Operations at Harbers Group.
During Verint’s ownership, the company offered multiple customer engagement solutions. However, due to a broad focus, little development occurred on Verint Express. This led to a mutual agreement for Harbers to acquire the software and its substantial customer base.
Harbers Group is now better positioned to further develop TriniCo as a customer engagement solution, using direct feedback from clients. This customer involvement makes TriniCo a unique concept that aligns with evolving service needs. The TriniCo Community is actively used to exchange feedback, support other clients, and provide valuable input for developers.
Lisette adds: “I’ve found the collaboration over the years to be extremely pleasant. Harbers is well-organized, responds quickly and flexibly, and keeps a close eye on everything. If any issues arise, they act immediately. Because Harbers maintains close contact with clients using Verint products, important questions surface—and Harbers ensures Verint stays alert.”
